Google Ads for Medical Practices
Someone typing a procedure and a town into Google is usually close to booking. Google Ads puts your practice in front of that search today, not in six months. We run search campaigns for surgical and specialist practices, count results in consultation requests rather than clicks, and show you where every dollar went.
Pay for Searches That Mean Something
A practice’s ad budget is easy to waste. Broad keywords pull in students, job seekers and people looking for free advice. Campaigns built around “doctor” or “clinic” compete with hospitals that have far bigger budgets. The searches worth paying for are specific: a procedure, a condition you treat, a town you serve. That’s where we put the money, and we keep cutting what doesn’t turn into enquiries.
What We Set Up and Run
Six parts, run together and reviewed every week.
- Campaigns by procedure and location, so each service has its own budget, ads and results
- Negative keywords that keep out job, training, DIY and "free" searches from day one
- Ad copy within Google's healthcare policies, with no guarantees, no "#1" and no claims the practice can't support
- A landing page for each procedure, so the click lands on the answer to the search, not your homepage
- Call and form tracking that doesn't send patient information to Google
- Weekly budget moves toward the campaigns that bring consultation requests
How the First 90 Days Run
- Days 1–30: build and measure. Account audit, tracking, procedure campaigns and landing pages. The first month is about learning which searches turn into calls.
- Days 31–60: cut and test. Remove searches and ads that don’t produce enquiries; test new ad copy and landing page changes.
- Days 61–90: grow what works. Move budget to the procedures and locations with the lowest cost per consultation request, then review the plan with you.
What Your Monthly Report Shows
| In the report | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Ad spend by campaign | Where the money went |
| Consultation requests (calls and forms) by campaign | What the money produced |
| Cost per consultation request | The number to judge us by |
| Search terms we excluded, and why | Shows the waste we cut |
| Changes made this month, and next month’s plan | No surprises |
Tracking, Done Carefully
US rules on tracking pixels for healthcare websites are unsettled, so we set tracking up conservatively. We count a call or form submission as an event, without sending names, conditions or other health details to Google. We don’t put ad tracking on patient portals or appointment systems, and we don’t build remarketing audiences from people who visited condition or treatment pages. Google also limits how health advertisers can target audiences (Google Ads policy). If your practice has a privacy officer or compliance advisor, we work with them on the setup.
What We Won’t Do
We won’t promise a number of new patients, run ads with claims your practice can’t support, or use urgency tricks like fake deadlines. Your ad account stays in your name.
Our team works from Kolkata, India. Day-to-day communication is by email, and calls are booked at a time that suits you. More about how we work with US practices.
Google Ads Questions
It depends on your specialty, your market and how many procedures you want to promote. We’ll suggest a starting budget after the Discovery Session, based on what clicks cost in your area.
Search ads can start producing calls soon after Google approves them. The first month is mostly learning which searches convert, so we judge the account on months two and three.
Our management fee is set out in a written proposal after the Discovery Session, separate from your ad spend, which is paid directly to Google.
You do. We work in your account as a manager, and you keep it, and all its data, if we stop working together.
Ads bring enquiries now, for as long as you pay. SEO builds visibility that keeps working, but takes longer. Many practices run ads while SEO builds. See our healthcare SEO service.
